Ferda’s trip from the Republic of Tyva to Irkutsk
First we went by car to Kyzyl.

Then by plane to Krasnoyarsk.

It was heavy rain in Krasnoyarsk. And then we went by train to Irkutsk.

In Irkutsk.
I'm at home and again in one of my favourite cafes "Buono". This time we've tasted cheese fondue there.

Baikal Lake. Ferda and the main symbol of Lake Baikal nerpa. Nerpa is an endemic of this lake.

The Baikal is the deepest lake in the planet – depth is 1642 m, its length from the south to the north is 620 km. The water is very transparent and clean, the bottom can be seen in the depth of 40 m.

These are the young seagulls. When they grow up, they will become of white colour.

336 big and small rivers run into Lake Baikal and only one river runs out of it – the Angara. The source of the Angara river is in the photo.

Ferda and his friend Cheburashka
It is “mangal” or the wood-fired grill. Usually we barbecue meat on it.

In the hotel where we lived there was an exhibition of Irkutsk artists.

We were swimming on Lake Baikal on this boat.

The Circum-Baikal Railway is the old historical railway which goes along the lake. Now it is a touristic object.
